La stampa brit se l’è bevuto il posterone di Cameron? So and so. Per il Times è stata Samantha a dare il via libera finale alla foto del marito. Ma Dave Trott di CST non è affatto impressionato dal risultato:

L’Independent ci va giù duro. Ian Burrell racconta che

Il Telegraph, invece, ci spera un po’ di più, ma ricorda che lo slogan “non possiamo andare avanti così” lo aveva già usato Maggie Thatcher. Per il Guardian – l’unico – la confusione sugli sgravi fiscali per le coppie sposate ha penalizzato Cameron, e fatto vincere Day One a Gordon Brown.

Il vero vincitore, comunque, per l’Independent si chiama Nick Clegg, corteggiatissimo da entrambe le parti.

Trying to make Cameron sound like a caricature of a cabbie – rewind to his recent elf’n’safety speech – is not going to work. ‘Fings can’t go on like this …’ It is just one more way of saying ‘time for a change’ which is pretty much what their strategy amounts to.
